Making Techniques Careful temperature controlled fermentation and the collaboration of New World trained winemakers and local knowledge has produced a full bodied, distinctive Rhone blend which marries the Old and New World in terms of style but with a slant towards a meatier, more structured wine. The key to this wine is the long time spent working with the fine lees to obtain length and complexity
Awards and/or Press Quotes
Penin Guide 93 Points
Robert Parker 91 Points. 'Opaque purple-coloured, it offers up a toasty, smoky bouquet with aromas of mineral, black cherry, and blueberry. This is followed by a medium- to full-bodied wine with an elegant personality, a silky texture, intense, savoury blue and black fruit flavours, superb balance, and 2-3 years of ageing potential. This pleasure-bent wine will offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2020.'
